Dear members, friends and volunteers,

Last year was a fantastic year for UNIFEM Singapore. We have accomplished what we set out to do thanks to you! In 2005 we successfully reached out to help more women -

1. A regional conference on Tackling the Demand for Child Sex Tourism and Trafficking bringing together governments, businesses and non-government sectors around the region to discuss and work together to combat child sex tourism and trafficking. Working with the media too we carried out a host of campaigns one being the poster campaign at bus shelters to raise awareness of the issue to the public.

2. Fund-raising activities - Bubble Ball, Vintage Collection, SNOW Dinner and IndoChine New Year's Eve Party to raise funds for UN Trust Fund to End Violence Against Women and Women and HIV/AIDS programmes.

3. HIV/AIDs free health screening for women.

4. Women and HIV/AIDS study and film screening

... and many other programmes and activities.

We want to thank you the donors, volunteers and members of UNIFEM Singapore that have helped and supported us. We will be carrying out a thank you party
